With more than 25 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, Jens is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and intelligent cloud-based solutions that solve complex business challenges and deliver meaningful value for customers.
A seasoned technology executive, Jens has a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams, driving technical excellence, and modernizing enterprise software platforms. His expertise spans cloud computing, software architecture, data engineering, AI-enabled technologies, and product innovation. Throughout his career, he has successfully partnered with cross-functional leaders to accelerate platform transformation, strengthen engineering organizations, and deliver secure, high-performance solutions at scale. Before joining Raintree, Jens served as Vice President of Architecture at Bullhorn, where he helped shape the company’s cloud platform and technical strategy. Previously, as Chief Architect at LLamasoft, a Coupa company, he led the modernization and cloud transformation of the company’s supply chain software platform. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership roles at ProQuest and Rovi, contributing to multiple patents while developing large-scale data environments and high-performance distributed systems.
Jens holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
