Protect Yourself From Recruitment Fraud

Raintree will never ask for financial information of any kind or for any payment during the job application process. We will never ask for personal information during the interview process such as passport number, bank account number, or social security number and will never ask you to receive and ship packages or goods. Our recruitment process takes place via live Zoom video or in person. Any emails from Raintree recruiters will come from an @raintreeinc.com email address.

The FTC issued guidance on how to spot a job scam and how to report it here. 

Raintree Systems follows strict standards on recruiting practices, such as:

  • Posting all job opportunities on the company's official careers page
  • Contacting you via phone call, email, LinkedIn or other social media. However, we will conduct live Zoom Video or in person interviews for job consideration, not over chat or text.
  • Raintree Systems employees will send emails only from the @raintreeinc.com domain (our employees will never use their personal email addresses for communication, such as Gmail, Hotmail etc.).
  • Raintree Systems employees will never ask for financial information of any kind or for any payment during the job application process. We will never ask for personal information during the interview process such as passport number, bank account number, or social security number and will never ask you to receive and ship packages or goods.

Scammers may create fake social media profiles that look similar to Raintree Systems employee profiles. Please do your due diligence to validate the authenticity of these accounts, and look for things like:

  • Multiple profiles using the same name and profile picture
  • Lack of real personal information
  • Low number of connections within Raintree Systems
  • Low activity, i.e. not liking or sharing any posts
  • No recommendations given or received

If something feels off and you suspect recruitment fraud, trust your instincts and cease communication immediately. Never text sensitive or financial information and never send any payments.
