Chief Strategy Officer

Sarina Richard is the Chief Strategy Officer of Raintree Systems and has spent twenty years as a Healthcare Technology Executive across the healthcare continuum, from operator to service provider to financier. At Raintree, Sarina oversees corporate strategic planning and leads cross-departmental initiatives to build best-in-class teams, systems, and processes. Previously, Sarina has held the Chief Operating Officer role at a VC-backed startup, Management Consultant at Bain & Company, Design & Innovation Consultant at MD Anderson, and Investment Banker at Merrill Lynch. Her most significant work experience comes from being a five-time healthcare startup founder with four successful exits. Sarina holds an M.B.A. with Distinction from Harvard Business School and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in Business Honors, Finance, and Spanish Honors. There she was awarded the prestigious Texas Exes President’s Leadership Award, and she currently sits on the Alumni Board for the Honors Program. Originally from Singapore and Texas, Sarina now lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid mountaineer, having summited Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp. She also enjoys traveling, biking, and Texas football.
