Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley was founded in 1942 as the Illinois Association for the Crippled, and began as an in-home service for 15 different families. With years of growth behind them and a new direction ahead, Easterseals opened its doors in June 1999 with a mission aimed to help disabled infants, children and adults attain full independence while also supporting the families who care for them.
Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley is based in Villa Park, IL and has sites throughout the state that help children and adults with disabilities by offering occupational, physical, and speech-language therapies, mental health, nutrition, audiology, autism services, and more. Additionally, the Lee A. Daniels Center in Naperville opened in September 2001 to enhance its offerings and assist more children.
Every week, they support over 1,000 babies, toddlers and adults with developmental delays or disabilities, so in order to keep up with the high demand, Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley needed a better system.
